Biomass Polymer
Plastic materials derived from
organic material made from starch powder.
Although it is a non-petroleum type, it has the same functionality and processability as general thermoplastic resins, and is compatible with various molding methods such as injection molding and extrusion molding. It has a wide range of applications such as plastic bags and films, shoe soles, interior materials for automobiles, and can also be a substitute for plastic and rubber products.
Not only is it durable enough for normal applications, but it is also a highly circulatory material that is biodegrable under specific conditions and has low combustion heat (carbon neutral). With our unique know-how, we will realize a supply price that is comparable to conventional materials and aim to spread it to the general public.

NEW POSSIBILITIES FOR WASTE MATERIALS
We have established the original compounding technology and the specialized equipment. They help us to recycle used tea leaves, coffee grounds, corncobs, that have not been recycled before. Every kind of waste material around the world is subject to our recycling system, and has possibility to be reborn as a functional material. Our recycling system solves client's waste disposal problems and world's environmental problem at the same time. We believe this technology will help us to build a sustainable society, and to hand over our planet to the next generation.

- Green tea leaves
Used tea leaves to be upcycled to functional infill.
A single artificial soccer pitch using Field Chip utilizes used tea leaves equivalent to approximately 430,000 525ml-sized PET plastic bottles. Field Chip can suppress increases in surface temperature by approximately 7 °C more than in comparison with conventional black rubber chip filler materials.

- Corncobs
Car floor mat made from corn cobs
We compounded non-edible corn cobs (corn cores) as an organic sustainable material and molded them into car floor mats. Since it is lighter than the case of using the conventional mineral filler, it leads to the weight reduction of the vehicle body. This plays a role in controlling greenhouse gas emissions. In terms of design, the texture derived from natural materials is beautiful. In addition, since the base polymer is a resin, it also features long-term durability. This product was developed at our North American factory (NASCA Elastomers) as an environmentally friendly product for a major US automobile manufacturer.

CONCEPT PRODUCT
ANTIBACTERIAL
COPPER PLASTIC
We developed new material "TPM (THERMO PLASTIC METAL)" containing a copper component with antibacterial and bactericidal properties.
The trace metal action of copper ions has the property of killing bacteria. When the anti-virus test for influenza type A-virus was conducted, the virus that contacted the surface of copper decreased to less than the detection limit after 30 minutes of action.(Source:Japan Copper Center)

Antibacterial Copper Face Shield
Face shield that uses copper material(TPM) with high antibacterial properties.
We developed and started offering "antibacterial copper face shield", a face shield that uses copper material with high antibacterial properties.
Special sheet containing a copper material is attached to the headband part that directly touches the skin and the chin part of the face shield body that is easy to touch when wearing and using to prevent virus splash and contact infection. The shape of the face shield body is curved according to the line of the face, eliminating the hassle of wearing it and pursuing fashionability. There are two sizes for adults and children, and the wearing size can be adjusted with the cord stopper on the strap.
Also, since the headband and strap can be used repeatedly, by replacing only the face shield part, it can be used hygienically and economically.
